Safety is our priority!
Thursday’s brutal winter storm has hit hard in the Miami Valley. In order to keep our employees safe...
What is your background and education?
I was born in Virginia, but I grew up in Springfield, OH. I graduated from Shawnee High School in 2012.
What did you do before joining SBV fulltime?
After high school, I became a certified electrician. My first fulltime job was working in maintenance for Wendy’s. Before Wendy’s, I worked part time for 4 years at a haunted house. I was also vocals in a local band.
Tell us about your current job duties.
I am a route driver, and service my vending and Contemporary Café customers in Miami, Dark, Shelby & Clark Counties.
I love to drive my truck, and I average 33,000 miles per year. I work from 12:30 am until 11:30 am in order to avoid traffic, and fill my accounts before morning breaks. I am responsible to keep my accounts clean, and stocked with fresh product.
I’m a people person, and I pride myself on outstanding customer service.
What does the future hold for SBV?
In my 5 years with the company, I’ve seen incredible growth in our customer base. I could not have predicted the popularity of our Contemporary Café concept. Technology has changed so much of our business for the better.
Our new telemetry inventory system now orders all of the product needed on my route each day. Without this daily duty, I am now free to concentrate on better customer service, as well as pick up new accounts.
What do you do for fun?
My wife and I are new parents. Our son Aiden is 1 year old, and family time is the best. We enjoy time with our friends, and my hobby is maintaining my fresh water aquarium. Aiden loves to watch our fish!
